First, this little plane arrived lighting fast through Amazon prime 3 days. Packaged well 2 boxes, bubble wrap around the actual plane and then sealed in a bag. Advisement a light oil covers every nook and cranny of the plane have a towel nearby to wipe off the oil. The plane right from the box was square from the sides to the sole and the sole was dead flat as well. The iron blade did have a tiny chip and the backside wasn't completely flat, with DMT fine/Extra fine stone flattening and sharpening only took about 15 passes each side and that removed the the chip too. All in all I will now bea return shopper with woodriver planes very impressed.
